Paul G. Sanderson III

Producer/Director and Director of Photography

Paul Sanderson is president of Our Town Films, a successful producer of television documentaries and educational programs. Since founding Our Town Films in 1992, Mr. Sanderson has won over 30 national awards, including nine CINE Golden Eagles. The Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. has honored Mr. Sanderson by placing one of his films in its permanent collection. His programs have appeared on NBC, PBS, The Discovery Channel, A&E Network, The History Channel and CNBC. His films have premiered at Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the American Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian.

Elizabeth Ames

Elizabeth Ames has co-authored four books with Steve Forbes including MONEY: How the Destruction of the Dollar Threatens The Global Economy — and What We Can Do About It, the basis of this program. Ames’ commentary and journalism have appeared in numerous print and online publications. She is founder of BOLDE Communications, co-producer of In Money We Trust?

Jerry Murphy

Jerry Murphy is an independent Video Producer and Editor living and working in New York City. A native of Ireland, he has produced promotional videos for Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, Camphill Village, NY, a biomedical engineering video for Whitaker Foundation and several videos for the corporate offices of the Institute of International Education. He has edited numerous videos for Our Town Films including videos for the Fulbright Program,  New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, Schools that Can and Rutgers School of Law. He won a Telly Award for best editor for “My Fulbright Life” – a video featuring Fulbright Artist Brian Rutenberg.

Nick Kenny

Animation/Graphics

Nick Kenny is an award-winning film editor and graphic designer. He has helped produce many promotional videos for colleges, schools, organizations and a wide range of other businesses. Nick has been an editor for Our Town Films, Array of Hope, Move Mountains Co, R&S Home Team Advisor, The Redwood Project, BoldrDash Race, and Mustard Seed Missionaries. Nick also served in the Rhode Island Army National Guard while studying communication and marketing at the University of Rhode Island.

Mike Sabatella

A South Pasadena native, ILMD’s owner, head designer, and creative director, Mikey Sabatella, has been creating original artwork and design concepts for more than two decades. In addition to his design work, he has been a musician for almost 20 years, spending seven years touring the country and abroad. Mikey’s strong commitment to offering five-star customer service and his expansive range of experience in the design industry has established a name for ILMD throughout many industries.  ILMD is a Los Angeles-based creative design and development studio featuring an experienced team of designers, developers, photographers, and writers. Whether brainstorming general concepts, to discussing design and development, to creating a full branding campaign, ILMD’s expert team is passionate about working with their clients.

Michael English

Executive Producer

A 21-time Emmy® Award winner, Mike English joined Maryland’s public TV network in 1985 and is recognized nationally for his talents as a writer, producer, and director of documentaries and ongoing series. Foremost among them is the immensely successfully series Outdoors Maryland, which has appeared on Maryland Public Television for the past three decades. English also is the creator and executive producer of MPT’s popular Maryland Farm & Harvest series, now in its sixth season.

Kate Pearson

With more than 20 years of experience in domestic and cable television, Kate Pearson oversees Maryland Public Television’s Programming & Acquisitions Division. She is responsible for Maryland Public Television’s channel lineup, scheduling MPT’s main channel and MPT2/Create, and acquisition of local, regional, and national content from independent producers.

Steve Schupak

Executive in Charge of Production

Steve Schupak is Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Maryland Public Television. He oversees planning and operations of the station including its content, creative services, programming, sales, finance, and business units. During his 15 years at the station, MPT has earned numerous EMMY® Awards and other industry honors for its productions. They include Chesapeake Bay Week®, Steven Raichlen’s Project Smoke, Star-Spangled Spectacular: The Bicentennial of our National Anthem, and MotorWeek.

Anna Leah

Archivist

In addition to her work on In Money We Trust? Anna Leah has researched and edited the documentary LeFrak City, for Our Town Films. She has also worked on the award-winning production, The Restaurateur, about famed restaurant innovator Danny Meyer, for Florentine Films. Anna’s independent work includes serving as producer and editor of The Balancing Act, an hour-long look backstage at an underground Brooklyn circus.  A numismatist in her spare time, her large coin collection came in handy for this project.
